As the Dealer Services Representative you will offer strong knowledge of the mutual fund industry and sales processes. You will maintain effective working relationship with key business partners to ensure compliance with Mutual Fund licensing regulations across all provinces and territories for the distribution network.

How you will create impact:

  • Receiving and reviewing transaction requests, ensuring appropriate documentation has been completed and that required supporting documents are submitted.
  • Reviewing documentation for accuracy and executing translations on behalf of advisors to reflect client requests, new account openings and updates.
  • Responding to client calls and following up on advisor and client concerns with external partners.
  • Providing expertise and guidance to filed management and employees on client issues, including addressing and triaging client complaints and concerns with regards to Mutual Funds.
  • Identifying issues of concern or non-compliant transactions or behaviour and escalating issues as appropriate.

To join our team:

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in investments or financial services
  • You have completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Advanced Investment or a related discipline.
  • You have knowledge and professional working experience of mutual funds and GICs, operational policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance.
  • You have experience working in client services and/or customer service roles where you interacted directly with advisors and/or clients via emails and calls.
  • Having or working towards the Mutual Fund Licence is an asset.
  • Having or working towards the Branch Compliance Manager designation is an asset.

Salary information

Expected salary/hourly range $43,550 - $72,583

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
