As the Senior Systems Developer - Salesforce, you will be a driving member of an integral Salesforce development team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing, and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to the members of your team. You will also be supporting our production environment and helping to identify opportunities to leverage native Salesforce capabilities to help our business grow.

Technologies you have experience with:

  • Must have Salesforce FSC, Postman, Confluence, JIRA/Agile experience.
  • Salesforce Apex, Triggers, LWC, Data Loader, SOQL.
  • DevOps, GitHub.
  • Nice to have Unqork, Glia, Sendgrid, Guidewire.
  • Salesforce Certifications – Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II; Architect – nice to have.

How you will create impact:

  • Leading the process of developing a cohesive plan to determine technologies and options for a working solution.
  • Developing new code on the Salesforce platform, and leveraging existing code to implement system features of medium to large complexity.
  • Creating an implementation and troubleshooting plan for a single system.
  • Identifying and recommending solutions for application defects, determining root causes, and minimizing the introduction of new defects.
  • Performing unit testing and project management activities for small to medium sized initiatives, leading system development project teams and providing guidance to junior team members.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for Salesforce CRM, you will work with product owners to leverage capabilities within FSC to their maximum advantage.
  • Guiding the assessment and selection of technical design solutions, working with Architecture and Solution Design.
  • Leading the continuous improvement of the Development and Engineering practice through research, devising improvements, establishing more efficient processes and providing guidance to other technical team members.

To join our team:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and have Salesforce Developer certifications.
  • You have completed post-secondary education in Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Having work experience in an Insurance Environment is an asset.
  • Experience working with APIs and Salesforce Platform Events.
  • Works closely with business users, stakeholders and Technology partners.
