As the Senior Manager, Advisor & Sales Analytics you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Retail Sales Analytics strategy. You will empower strategic data-driven decision making and will oversee the delivery of robust insights, ensuring analytics are accurate and timely, and provided in an easily consumable and customizable format to meet the needs of Retail Sales users, enabling our high-performance sales culture.

How you will create impact:

  • Defining the analytics strategy, establishing a leading framework, implementing consistent architecture, and designing and developing aligned practices and tools.
  • Ensuring that analytic strategies and approaches are developed, maintained, and followed across the Advisor & Sales Analytics team.
  • Supporting day-to-day operations and delivery of complex analytics and insights requests and collaborating with business partners across Retail Sales to understand their requirements and enterprise Business Intelligence teams to share data requirements.
  • Collaborating with other teams within the Retail Sales Data & Analytics function to support the overall data strategy across the Retail Sales & Service portfolio, ensuring that we prioritize our efforts towards enabling data-driven decisions in enablement of our wider strategic objectives.
  • Managing project activities to ensure effective delivery of solutions, including establishing plans, monitoring timelines and risks, and partnering with functional leaders to define reporting requirements, assess resourcing and determine prioritization.
  • Contributing towards the development of standards, policies, practices and methodologies, and monitoring compliance with corporate policies.
  • Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.

To join our team:

  • You have 8-12 years of experience in Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, BI or Data Management, including experience managing projects and as a people leader.
  • You have a post-secondary diploma in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related discipline.
  • You have knowledge in data design, BI tools (MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and programming languages, such as SQL, R, Python.
  • You have expertise with predictive statistical models and advanced understanding of business intelligence and data management.
  • You have a sound understanding of data analytics and reporting methodologies and experience in translating data into actionable insights to enable strategic decision-making.
  • You have robust experience in leading a team of analytics professionals and collaborating with business partners to understand their analytics requirements and how the connect to the organization’s wider strategic objectives.
