The Senior Enterprise Architect – Cloud Product Owner function at The Co-operators is a cohesive entity designed to address all cloud-related concerns, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals. This function integrates diverse expertise from across Technology and is accountable for maintaining the company's cloud vision and driving the strategic execution of the cloud roadmap.
How you will create impact:

Responsible for the creation and evolution of the long-term vision & strategy for Cloud for the enterprise.

Responsible for owning the roadmap of product & feature enhancements and their evolution in accordance with the vision for all platform cloud investments Paas(Platform as a Service) and Iaas (Infrastructure as a Service).Will work with the stakeholders representing our existing investments in Azure and AWS to prioritize, design and onboard solutions which effectively leverage the features of those platforms in support of the delivery of business objectives.

Will work with stakeholders from infrastructure and operations to ensure all existing and future tooling infrastructure investments align to the long-term vision for cloud.

Will work with stakeholders from Enterprise Information Security to ensure all existing and future cloud-related tooling investments and architectural patterns adhere to security best practices and design patterns.

Will work with all impacted stakeholders to deliver a positive cloud user experience

Understanding and capturing stakeholder requirements

Establishing and managing a service catalog of cloud offerings

Establish benchmarks for both performance and cost management of the cloud environment

Collaborates with the various cloud product managers to assess their views and related functional impacts regarding potential cloud choices.

Provide Enterprise Architecture support to other portfolios outside cloud when opportunities are presented.

To join our team:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect

Proven and significant experience in a cloud portfolio

Experience writing proposals and translating complex solutions into simple business terms that demonstrate the value of architecture management initiatives.

Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architecture Expert would be considered an asset
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect would be considered an asset
