The responsibilities of a NPI Engineer in this role include:
- Provide technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area.
- Recommend and implement equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products.
- Develop and conduct statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) targeting physical cause of failure for yield loss and improving quality.
- Interact with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
- Interact with customers in support of project status, key milestones, and deliveries. This includes samples deliveries, special work requests, wafer lot starts and reliability tests
- Perform product reliability and characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Engineering background
Minimum 3 years of process engineering experiences or relevant experiences working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with SMT experiences
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to operate independently within program guidelines
- Proficiency in risk planning and reaction to project problems in order to stay on schedule
- Team player with strong listening skills that can take inputs and make informed decisions
- Concise and clear written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage cross functional, cross disciplined team members
- Effective influence management without direct authority
- Demonstrated ability to communicate throughout the organization, including the executive staff.
