Texas Instruments is seeking an Analog Design Manager. In this role, you will direct and guide the activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. You may also evaluate final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. In addition, job functions include preparing and presenting reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and making recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. As an Analog Design Manager, you may also select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
About The Job
You will be part of the team with charter to develop new Audio converters catering to PE, Automotive and Industrial market segment. Team has complete charter of end to end development of Audio ADCs, DACs, Codecs including devices with Class D integration. These devices are highly integrated mixed signal devices with on chip digital signal processing capabilities
As part of this role you will get opportunity to interface with various engineering teams within the product line including digital design, layout, firmware, verification, validation, test, systems, applications and marketing to successfully execute new products from concept to volume production and subsequent support.
You will be a core member in a design team driving flawless execution, while finding innovative design architecture and solutions to customers’ problems through “out of the box thinking” to deliver highly differentiated products.
In this role, responsibilities may include:
- Analog design lead / chip lead of mixed signal audio products with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing
- Direct, guide and participate in activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuits for a variety of applications
- Make assignments for team members, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project
- Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation, to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives
- Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout
- Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pre-PG phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before PG
- Work with systems engineers, application engineers and marketing to prepare product briefs, datasheets, application notes and assisting in the definition of the product to meet customer needs as well as contributing to roadmap formulation and new concept creation
- Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
- Interface and lead discussions with the customer and/or TI field sales/field applications teams to understand customer designs, problems and support as required
- Actively participate in hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the organization and growth of the individuals into leader

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- > 6 Years of Analog Design experience
- > 2 Years of hands on experience in Sigma Delta ADC or DAC
- Knowledge of Clocking (PLL, OSC), Reference, Power Management Designs
- Experience of leading full project (Chip lead) Or Analog design lead
- Strong understanding of signal processing, Analog design principles, including low-noise, low-distortion, and high-efficiency circuits
- Proven record of nurturing talent
