The Technical Sales Representative (TSR)/Engineer will be responsible for understanding the overall market in addition to the customer's market and needs. The TSR will develop a detailed and dynamic plan for identifying customer projects and vetting them through the appropriate FAE or internal experts to ensure all potential opportunities have been identified. In this role, you will be fully responsible and accountable for TI's largest opportunities/projects, understanding of the customer's supply chain, current and future source of revenue, existing and needed backlog and accuracy of all revenue in CIR.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish a network of relationships that enables TI to intersect every new project (and respective device needs) at the concept stage
  • Lead device identification efforts at your customers via project planning efforts
  • Develop an annual financial plan and reviewing progress towards plan each month

Scope: This account manager role is responsible for owning the holistic account strategy and relationship with a key customer in the data center market. In this role, you would work closely with a worldwide team including field applications engineering, CM/ODM sales and engineering, and operations in order to drive business and collaboration with your customer. Being able to build strong relationships across organizations and with leadership teams is a key part of success. Finally, in this position you will also be partner with key business units and systems engineering to find innovative ways help your customer and ultimately win business.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5 years of relevant engineering experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience that includes success in growing sales in a semiconductor sales role supporting many emerging and growing customers within a specific region
  • Experience selling a broad range of analog and processor-based products
  • Understanding key targets and being relentless in the pursuit
  • Ability to intelligently use resources at hand (at the customer and internally) to gain commitments quickly
  • Ability to understand electronic systems and trade-offs
  • Knowledge on how customer systems are designed, released, and sold
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
