We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Battery Management Systems team, focusing on Complex Device Driver (CDD) development for both wired and wireless BMS solutions. This role will be instrumental in developing and maintaining AUTOSAR-compliant software that interfaces with TI's latest BMS hardware.

You will have an opportunity to work on cutting-edge BMS technology and be responsible for developing comprehensive system solutions for automotive battery management applications. Your work will combine both system-level architecture and detailed implementation to create robust, scalable solutions for the next generation of electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Complex Device Drivers (CDD) for Battery Management Systems following AUTOSAR standards
  • Understanding of RTOS, MCAL Drivers
  • Architect and implement comprehensive system-level diagnostic solutions for automotive-grade battery management
  • Develop robust monitoring and control interfaces for battery management applications
  • Create scalable software solutions for next-generation automotive power systems
  • Design and optimize multi-protocol communication interfaces for automotive networks
  • Ensure software compliance with automotive functional safety requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for software architecture and APIs
  • Support customer integration efforts and provide technical guidance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or related degree
  • 2 years of embedded software development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop system-level solutions for automotive applications
  • Understanding of communication protocols
  • Strong knowledge of C programming and embedded systems
  • Experience with version control systems and software configuration management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree
  • Experience architecting complete battery management solutions
  • Knowledge of automotive functional safety standards and implementation
  • Experience with wireless automotive systems
  • System-level diagnostic architecture experience
  • Understanding of automotive ECU architecture and integration
  • Experience with real-time operating systems
  • Knowledge of automotive power electronics systems
