We're searching for a dedicated ESHS Manager to spearhead initiatives at our site in Sherman and drive excellence in environmental stewardship, workplace safety, and sustainable practices. As a key leader in the site’s organization, you'll shape the future by championing ESHS policies and procedures that align with our business objectives and inspire our workforce.
Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of ESHS. You'll have the opportunity to shape our approach to ESHS by developing programs, forging partnerships with regulatory agencies, and empowering employees to embrace safe and responsible work practices. This role demands a poised and adaptable leader who can navigate complex situations with ease, balancing compliance requirements with business goals, and transforming challenges into opportunities. You'll be expected to communicate effectively at all levels, from the shop floor to the executive suite, and represent the site and our company with professionalism in high-level meetings and industry events. You’ll be the face of our site’s ESHS initiatives in Sherman to local and state officials and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
Leadership & Compliance Management
- Lead and develop a team of ESHS professionals, fostering a proactive ESHS culture across the organization
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local ESHS regulations, as well as internal requirements
- Engage with regulatory agencies, support audits, and maintain relationships to promote best practices
Policy Development & Risk Management
- Develop and implement ESHS policies and procedures aligned with business goals and regulatory standards
- Conduct risk assessments, provide technical guidance, and implement corrective actions to mitigate workplace hazards
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring site-wide preparedness
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report ESHS performance metrics to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for optimization
- Drive change initiatives to prepare the site for future challenges and minimize environmental impact
- Maintain a low level of safety incidents across all cost centers and departments
Business Integration & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESHS practices into business operations
- Manage the ESHS budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation
- Support site management in maximizing objectives while maintaining ESHS compliance and conformance

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field
- 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in semiconductor or other high-tech manufacturing
- Experience with ESH management systems, such as ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
- Prior leadership experience
- Prior experience leading projects, initiatives, or programs
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ESHS laws, regulations, and standards, with the ability to align ESHS programs with business objectives
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to set objectives, motivate teams, and drive results
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of analyzing complex data and developing effective solutions
- Experience in representing ESHS initiatives at high-level management meetings and justifying appropriate solutions
- Ability to adapt to new systems, processes, and work methods, including the implementation of AI and LLM technologies
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver projects on time
