Digital Design Engineer
Texas Instruments
Change the world. Love your job.
In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
In this position, you will be working on low-power RF communication circuits and IoT devices using state-of-the art process technology. You will be creating specific circuitry for modulation and demodulation of information into RF signals, as well as other aspects related to low power radio communication.
Your responsibilities will include RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, verification and debugging of communication chips both at the circuit level and behavioral level. You will be able to define and test new modulation and demodulation algorithms for different modulation formats like BPSK, FSK, QAM and OFDM. You will develop those algorithms using low-level embedded assembler-programmed CPUs. You will participate in the development of new low-power architectures for future products.
This position involves routine communication with a highly talented team of analog and digital design engineers to solve problems and present information as well as active participation in work groups, providing ideas and collaborative teamwork.
