Career Accelerator Program - Analog RF Design Engineer
Job Description
Change the world. Love your job.
In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
As an Analog-RF design engineer contributing to successful RF and millimeter-wave products, you’ll design, develop and characterize RF and Microwave modules, systems and, circuits for internal and external customer specific requirements in TI's and external foundry silicon-based processes. Under limited supervision, this includes specification definition and development, design, simulation, floorplanning, layout and review, bench characterization and debug, and documentation. This includes the development and definition of IP supporting future generations of the product family and cross-functional interaction.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Design, develop and characterize RF/analog, and mixed-signal IC embedded modules for internal and external customer specific requirements for RF communication and sensing circuits in TI's and external foundry silicon-based processes.
Design, develop and characterize suitable packages for design assembly.
Specification definition and development, design, simulation, floor-planning, layout and review, bench characterization and debug, and documentation for leading modules.
Interaction with internal teams and customers during the specification negotiation process. Needs to work with modelling, CAD, characterization, testing and productization teams.
Evolve and propagate project from design exploration to final product development as part of joint research-development initiatives also covering validation and test.
Final product to tape-out. Also needs to collaborate, drive during characterization and productization. Several test chips a year to check feasibility of designs in successive process nodes.
May include travel for customer discussions.
