Job Description
Context:
In the Industrial Automation industry, UIO modules offer configurable analog and digital input/output channels to connect various field devices to a PLC such as temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, or motor control signals. By using a UIO module, automation systems can reduce the number of different hardware components needed, leading to lower inventory costs and a more streamlined system design. In short, UIO modules are part of the cutting-edge automation technologies that will drive the future of smart manufacturing and represent a growing revenue opportunity for TI at our key industrial customers.

Your goals during this internship will be to tackle those new opportunities by:
- Testing newest TI solutions using customers’ requirements and concerns. You will exchange with industry experts and report your findings both internally and to customers.
- Evaluating the Total Addressable Market (TAM) at customers.
The internship mission revolves around 3 guiding steps, the rest of the project will be defined together with the intern:
- Build your own understanding of customer needs.
- Evaluate new semiconductor technology that TI can propose for UIO modules, and compare it versus what our competition is currently proposing from a technical & price perspective.
- Test and showcase to customers the technical advantages of TI solution in their uses cases.
Qualifications
The team you will join:
In this role you´ll be part of a team of and field application Engineers and account managers based in Issy-Les-Moulineaux who are working with key industrial & automotive customers to generate revenue growth. This is achieved by working closely with our customers, identifying early projects and working closely with the R&D to solve their engineering design challenges at the right cost.
Profile:
- Enrolled in Electrical engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as a team member
- Strong technical skills
- Strong communication & ability to present
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and debugging skills is preferred
Other information specific to the role (i.e. % travel...)
Support the field sales and field application engineer to visit customers and solve their design challenges
If successful during your internship it may lead to you being hired as a graduate Analog Field Applications Engineer or Technical Sales Representative in 2026.
