Communications and Brand Marketing Development Program
Texas Instruments
Communications and Brand Marketing Development Program
Job Description
We can't predict what the future holds, but we know Texas Instruments will have a part in shaping it.
In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
As a CAP participant in Communications, you will have the opportunity to develop critical skills for a career in Communications and Brand Marketing, such as developing a communications strategy, global campaign plans, thought leadership programs, content creation and storytelling, project management and channel expertise.
You will be able to use your skills while working with those in corporate communications, brand marketing, creative project management, giving and volunteering, employee and executive communications and more. For example, you could create exciting content for TI’s social media channels; promote TI to recruit future employees; get hands-on experience in crisis communications; or build internal communications programs to engage employees. Your work may include blogs, videos, intranet content, presentations, co-marketing programs, and leveraging channels like email, search, paid advertising, social media, media relations and more.
Develop powerful skills and build a strong foundation:
• Build a strong understanding of TI’s strong culture and innovative technology to promote the company brand and share compelling stories. Learn concepts and strategic considerations for developing a comprehensive communications or marketing plan, where you get to own the strategy, messaging, development, launch, and measurement of results.
• Develop competency in both content and channels to reach TI’s current and future employees, customers, suppliers and local communities while informing strategies through the use of data and insights.
• Create plans for different communication or marketing scenarios, apply your personal creativity, learn how to manage stakeholders and sharpen your problem-solving skills to adapt quickly in the event of changing circumstances.
• Partner with subject matter experts and develop great working relationships with TIers who live our values every day.
• Collaborate with team members around the globe to help you develop a richer and deeper understanding of our company.
Experience an environment that unlocks everyone’s potential, where we treat one another with respect, value our differences, and encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas.
