The Regional Manager, 2SLGBTQ+ (Two Spirited, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender, Queer) Business Development will be charged with leveraging TD’s strong position in the 2SLGBTQ+ community to identify and win business opportunities across TD business lines (including but not limited to Retail Banking, Wealth Management, and Business Banking). Deepening customer relationships and acquiring new to bank business in this segment will require the incumbent to build, maintain and leverage internal and external networks as well as manage the market via consistent involvement in the community
The Regional Manager, 2SLGBTQ+ Business Development is a proven business model generating strong results in markets where we have a presence
• Responsible to develop and execute the 2SLGBTQ+ business strategy within the region across all identified business lines (developing and executing acquisition strategy for products and services within Retail Banking, Business Banking and Wealth Management)
• Accountable for the growth of the 2SLGBTQ+ business portfolio through defined business goals
• Responsible for growing a referral program through business development, acquisition strategies & community initiatives specific to the 2SLGBTQ+ community across all identified business lines within the bank
• Increase knowledge and awareness of 2SLGBTQ+ business opportunities within all lines of business (Retail Banking, Business Banking and Wealth)
• Share knowledge and provide sales support to internal partners to assist with growing the 2SLGBTQ+ banking portfolio
• Increase presence and awareness of TD’s 2SLGBTQ+ commitment and focus within the region, developing & maintaining key relationships with Centers of Influence
• Lead and model a superior customer and colleague experience at every interaction
• Collaborate and work closely with other identified business segments including but not limited to Black Community Business Development, Women in Enterprise, Indigenous Banking, Professional and Franchise Banking.
• Work with multiple Business Partners across the organization including TD Ready Commitment, Community Relations, Marketing, Human Resources/Recruitment, Diversity Equity, and Inclusion and other Partners
Job Requirements
• Knowledge and experience across business lines including Retail Banking, Business Banking and Wealth Management
• Deep Understanding, knowledge and involvement within the 2SLGBTQ+ community
• Understanding of, and ability to make an impact within the 2SLGBTQ+ community
• Strong personal brand and network within the 2SLGBTQ+ community
• Experience and demonstrated ability in business development, sales and relationship management
• Strong strategic focus and ability to execute with multiple stakeholders
• Results oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), impact and influence skills to have impact with multiple stakeholders across multiple business lines
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter and work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communications, presentation, and public speaking skills to deliver varied content across internal & external partners and customers
• Must leverage social media (ex. LinkedIn and Instagram) to amplify TD brand and generate business
