You Are:

You are a motivated and self-driven Network Security Engineer with a passion for protecting critical information and infrastructure. You have a strong technical background and are experienced in deploying, tuning, and maintaining security policies. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide senior-level network services, including installing, configuring, and integrating network security technologies.
  • Configure and manage network security devices such as Palo Alto, ClearPass, and Zscaler firewalls.
  • Monitor network traffic, analyze security events, and promptly respond to potential threats or vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in advanced security policy decisions (firewall, Zero Trust, Web Proxy, micro-segmentation, security posture).
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase productivity and maintain high-quality deployments.
  • Provide advanced network analytics for complex issues escalated from Tier I/II support groups.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge base and SOP/KB documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex security-related issues.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Network Security Certifications (PCNSE, ZIA/ZPA, Security+).
  • 6+ years of network security and engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and protocols.
  • Proficiency with network configuration management and automation tools (Algosec, Tufin, Python, Ansible, OpenStack).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills on firewall issues.
  • Experience with firewall auditing and a drive to stay current with new technologies.
