What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advance the research of numerical algorithms and high-performance computational software for state-of-the-art electromagnetics, circuit, and system simulators.
  • Develop and automate comprehensive unit and regression tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Learn and apply best software engineering practices, including participating in design and code reviews.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in electrical engineering, computational electromagnetics, numerical methods, circuit simulation, device modeling, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Enrolled full-time in a degree program and maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Knowledge of scientific programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Experience in power electronics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a sharp and tenacious mindset.
  • Preferred: Experience in circuit simulation and analysis, semiconductor device modeling, signal integrity; Verilog-A device modeling or AI/ML project experience is a plus but not required.

Key Program Facts:

  • Program Length: 3 months, from May 2025 to August 2025.
  • Location: Fully remote (work from anywhere in Canada).
  • Working Model: 100% remote.
  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time (40 hours per week).
  • Start Date: May 2025.
