What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team, including program managers and support staff, driving delivery of reference designs.
  • Define, develop, and evolve domain reference solutions in AI-based software and system environments, integrating digital twins and real-world systems.
  • Maintain and align product strategy with market intelligence, ensuring relevance and competitive advantage.
  • Oversee development of system architectures, including safety and security concepts, and ensure their robust implementation.
  • Drive customer relations, manage multi-customer projects, and deliver customer-specific adaptations and engineering services.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies through regular risk assessments and system inspections.
  • Manage full product lifecycle, including cost, timing, profit and loss accountability, and resource planning.
  • Prepare and review key engineering deliverables such as product specification sheets, use case definitions, design documents, and verification reports.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent (Master’s or PhD preferred).
  • 8–15+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5–8 years in leadership of complex development and integration projects.
  • Expertise in system architecture, safety & security, digital twins, hardware and software design.
  • Proven experience in product management, program oversight, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Strong industry knowledge in automotive, defense, robotics, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
