What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and managing the Silicon Validation Engineering team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and hands-on support.
  • Overseeing the review, debugging, and troubleshooting of silicon implementations of high-speed analog integrated circuits, ensuring robust validation processes.
  • Coordinating the execution of characterization tests and the creation of comprehensive test reports that meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Facilitating the development and maintenance of custom test boards and hardware solutions to enable effective validation and debugging.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment that leverages theoretical and practical knowledge to investigate and explain circuit behaviors and limitations.
  • Mentoring and developing team members, promoting ongoing professional growth, technical expertise, and knowledge sharing within the group.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with analog designers, hardware engineers, and other departments to align project objectives and ensure seamless integration of validation processes.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in analog IC circuit design and validation, with deep knowledge of high-speed circuits.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills managing engineering teams in a high-tech R&D environment.
  • Advanced debugging skills and hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
  • Familiarity with interface protocols including USB, PCI Express, SATA, and Ethernet.
  • Understanding of NRZ and PAM4 encoding techniques.
  • Experience with software programming (MATLAB or Python preferred) and basic knowledge of FPGA programming (Verilog is a plus).
  • Familiarity with communication interfaces such as JTAG, I2C, and SPI.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
