What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Administering and supporting Linux/Unix systems in a global HPC environment
  • Managing compute farm schedulers such as LSF and Slurm, including queue and resource optimization
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting LDAP services and NFS storage solutions
  • Crafting clear, comprehensive documentation for system administration procedures and best practices
  • Researching, recommending, and implementing new technologies and automation solutions for enhanced quality, capacity, and performance
  • Executing software and hardware updates to improve system reliability and security
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver project milestones
  • Participating in a 24x5 rotational shift schedule to ensure continuous support and operational excellence

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration, preferably in an HPC or EDA environment
  • Practical knowledge of compute farm schedulers (LSF, Slurm) and queue management
  • Experience with LDAP, NFS, and network operations in large-scale environments
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, PHP, or related technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues creatively, and recommend solutions independently
