You Are:

You are a highly experienced and passionate engineering professional, eager to join a world-class team at the forefront of electronic design automation. With over 15 years of recent, hands-on experience, you thrive on solving complex transistor-level challenges and have a deep understanding of memory design, static timing, and CMOS fundamentals. Your expertise extends to debugging circuit-level issues for SRAM, RF, ROM memories, and Standard Cells, as well as developing and validating advanced library modeling solutions. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Field Application Engineers, Sales, and Marketing, and you excel at translating customer needs into actionable product enhancements.

Your technical prowess is complemented by a strong foundation in scripting languages such as TCL, and you bring a results-oriented approach to every project. You are recognized for your exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, making you a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to provide insightful product consultations, deliver impactful trainings, and drive adoption of new technologies sets you apart as an influential leader in the field. You are innovative, motivated, and dependable, always seeking new ways to advance the capabilities of static timing, characterization, and library modeling tools to empower chip designers worldwide.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Driving the development of new products and features that exceed customer expectations in static timing, characterization, and library modeling.
  • Collaborating closely with R&D to ensure timely implementation of innovative solutions and critical bug fixes.
  • Providing expert consultation to prospective users, assessing product capabilities, and validating solutions for complex design challenges.
  • Delivering technical trainings to customers and internal Field Application Engineers, fostering best practices and product expertise.
  • Supporting sales staff through impactful presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing Synopsys’ advanced EDA solutions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of detailed product specifications and custom application solutions to meet diverse customer requirements.
  • Driving new tool evaluations and facilitating customer adoption of advanced design flows.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+years of hands-on experience in transistor-level analysis, debugging, and memory design.
  • Expertise in SRAM, RF, ROM memory and Standard Cell design and validation.
  • Strong background in static timing concepts and CMOS engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL; experience with NanoTime and/or PrimeLib is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical training and product consultations.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:

You will join a dynamic and cross-functional Product Engineering team dedicated to driving the development and adoption of Synopsys’ Static Timing, Characterization, and Library Modeling tools. The team works closely with R&D, Field AEs, Sales, and Marketing to deliver innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of chip design customers. Together, you will shape technology roadmaps, support customer success, and champion the advancement of high-performance design flows in the semiconductor industry.
