Responsibilities:

  • Management of the entire program engineering lifecycle including initiation, definition, planning and steering.
  • Monitoring and managing the program budget, scope, risks, issues, and schedule will also be part of your responsibilities.
  • Assist on the implementation of program and project management standards and tools.
  • Identify needs, manage expectations, and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Lead regular status meetings with the program team, project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and assistance to other Project Engineering Managers
  • Assure coordination with other programs.
  • Provide internal and external reporting to senior leadership and external entities for strategic performance.
  • Coordination of cross-projects activities within the SerDes project management department.

Job Requirements:

  • Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Applied Science (or equivalent);
  • Requires 5+ years of experience in a project/program management role;
  • Thorough understanding of program/project management techniques and methods;
  • Moderation experience and skills;
  • Experience having worked in matrix organization that includes demonstrating strong influencing and collaborative skills across multiple teams;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and discuss complex matters clearly with both technical and non-technical people;
  • Solid organizational skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving ability;
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.

Valued Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in Formal Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, etc.). …;
  • Understanding technical aspects of IP and SoC development;
  • Familiarity with the development process for ASIC designs;
  • Familiarity with UNIX operating systems, MS Project and MS Excel;
  • Experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (ex. Power BI);
  • Formal soft-skill training – Communication, Negotiation, Moderation, Leadership.

As Program Engineering Manager you will manage programs of mixed-signal IP projects, assuring program delivery according roadmap, and maintaining overview of program performance on main milestones and key KPI’s.

You will have the chance of overseeing a group of individual projects linked together through a shared organizational goal or common area of impact, assuring customer commitments accomplishment within compromised time, cost, and performance.

The programmatic grouping of multiple projects provides synergy, consistent management, and greater visibility to stakeholders than individually managed projects, enabling common decision process and enhanced risk management.
