What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing technical support and consultation for Synopsys RTL-2-GDS products, focusing on STA, ECO, and Signoff tools.
- Articulating design methodologies involving Synopsys Design Implementation tools and being proficient in the full Synopsys tool portfolio.
- Assessing potential applications of Synopsys products to meet customer needs.
- Playing various support roles including training, product installation, problem resolution, methodology guidance, tape-out support, and technical account management.
- Building mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility and provide consultation on product capability assessment and validation.
- Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic skills in either Frontend (STA, Synthesis, Formality) or Backend (Place and Route, Signoff).
- Knowledge of advanced technology characteristics such as FINFET (<= 16nm) is desirable.
- Good command of English with effective communication and excellent customer interface skills.
- Expertise in programming with UNIX Shell/Perl/Tcl and other scripting languages is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple issues, set priorities, and operate independently with little supervision.
- Occasional travel within Asia Pacific and to the USA, up to 4 weeks each time, is expected.
