About the Role:
We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Senior Hardware Release Engineer with deep understanding of EDA models and IC design processes, combined with a strong ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows. This role requires excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment and high motivation for self-education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verification and Analysis:
    • Perform QA and Verification of DDR/HBM/UCIE PHY components, ensuring compliance with system requirements and industry standards.
    • Debug and analyze the issues to assure the quality of database.
    • Understand the logic and rationale of the checks and processes.
  • Tool and Flow Proficiency:
    • Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, flows, and methodologies.
    • Work with industry-standard tools like Synopsys ICV, HSPICE, Tetramax, etc. for simulation and analysis.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Write and communicate effectively in English via email, phone, chat, and meetings.
    • Collaborate with other teams to align on project objectives.
    • Good team player, open to ask and answer questions, but never delegate own responsibilities to others.
    • Integrity, punctuality and discipline are the key required personal characteristics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven working experience in IC design or a closely related field.
  • In-depth understanding of EDA tools, design flows, and hardware release methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux-based environments (shell scripting, file systems, permissions, etc.).
  • Agile learning of new tools, platforms and workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to write clear and concise emails, participate in chats, and contribute to meetings effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with version control systems (Perforce, etc.).
  • Familiarity with design data management and build automation tools.
  • Experience in scripting (Python, Perl, or similar) for process automation.
  • Background in working with cross-functional global teams.
