You Are:

As a dedicated and innovative R&D Engineer, Sr Staff, you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology. You possess a strong technical foundation in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with a focus on physical design automation. Your adeptness in programming languages such as C++, TCL, and Python, combined with your proficiency in data structures and algorithms, makes you a valuable asset to any team. You are meticulous about clean code and are not deterred by legacy code. Your strong organizational skills enable you to manage complex engineering projects, and your excellent communication and presentation skills help you effectively collaborate and share knowledge with your team. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in the EDA industry, you bring both expertise and a willingness to mentor others. You are familiar with advanced design rules and have a clear understanding of how checking works, making you an integral part of the team.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing new features for the Synopsys Custom Compiler.
  • Reviewing code to ensure high-quality standards and performance.
  • Designing and implementing robust software architecture.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new functionalities.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Conducting research and staying updated with the latest advancements in EDA and physical design automation.

What You’ll Need:

  • MS/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in physical design automation in the EDA industry.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, TCL, and Python.
  • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and large-scale software development.
  • Experience with advanced design rules and checking mechanisms.
