You Are:

You are a highly skilled and motivated engineer with a passion for digital design and test methodologies. You have a strong background in Design for Test (DFT) and a deep understanding of ASIC/FPGA design flows. Your expertise in scripting languages and experience with Synopsys DFT tools make you a valuable asset to any team. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and excel in problem-solving and analytical thinking. Your excellent communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with global teams, and you have a customer-focused mindset that drives you to deliver high-quality solutions. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and executing validation plans for new features of tools, including developing test cases, building DFT flows (insertion, scan stitch, ATPG, simulation), debugging, and documentation.
  • Collaborating with R&D teams to resolve tool defects and enhance tool capabilities.
  • Raising and tracking defects, and enhancing/adding test suites to improve product quality.
  • Collaborating with domain experts to improve product quality.
  • Providing consultation for test solutions during design planning, budgeting, and implementation.
  • Designing test methodology rules checking during RTL coding stages.
  • Implementing DFT compression, validation, and automatic test generation for various fault models.
  • Participating in customer’s design and flow reviews.
  • Conducting diagnostics analysis and debug.

What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in DFT methodologies (scan, BIST, ATPG, boundary scan).
  • Proficiency with Synopsys DFT tools (DFT Compiler, TetraMAX, PrimeTest) and EDA workflows.
  • Strong foundation in digital circuit design, verification, and test.
  • Familiarity with ASIC/FPGA design flows (e.g., RTL to GDSII).
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Tcl) for automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) and silicon bring-up processes.
