What You Will Do:

  • Strategically partner with executives and business leaders across engineering organizations to move the needle on business and enterprise strategies.
  • Consult with leaders to provide expert advice, aligning company and best practices with goals and talent needs.
  • Provide guidance on a range of People topics, programs, and issues spanning all areas of HR such as talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, workforce planning, engagement, retention, and compliance.
  • Act as a confidential sounding board for leaders to discuss sensitive topics, brainstorm solutions, and navigate complex situations.
  • Proactively identify and address organizational and people opportunities and solve complex problems as they arise
  • Work with the business to continuously build employee skills, upskill capabilities through talent development and strategic hiring, and build bench strength for future leadership roles.
  • Support the continuous development of a culture that is aligned with the Synopsys values, fosters innovative thinking, challenges the status quo, and drives ongoing improvement.
  • Work with leaders to identify needs, prioritize, and lead efforts to enable employees to do the best work in service to our customers.
  • Actively collaborate with management to improve productivity and work relationships within their function.
  • Partner with the People team and business leaders to execute talent strategies and plans.
  • Partner cross functionally with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to provide input into programs, successfully rollout and manage programs within the business, drive change management efforts, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

What You Will Need to Bring:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use it to influence decision-making.
  • Exposure to organizational design, workforce strategy and planning efforts.
  • Experience diagnosing and building leader, manager, team, and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field
  • 10+ years experience in a People Partner and/or HR role for a multinational organization

Additional Desired:

  • An advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Experience partnering with Engineering functions in a large organization
  • Experience driving organizational or enterprise-wide change
