You Are:

As a Senior CAD Engineer, you are an innovative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for infrastructure and engineering ecosystems. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously. You have a solid background in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, combined with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Your technical expertise includes developing and supporting solutions for ASIC design environments, and you are proficient in scripting languages such as Unix Shell, Python, and TCL. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors. You are a proactive self-starter who is flexible, adaptable, and motivated to drive continuous improvement in infrastructure and engineering processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work with internal infrastructure team on compute grid, storage management, and job scheduling architecture, efficiency, maintenance, and forecasting.
  • Adapt Synopsys's infrastructure to PVT SENSORS GROUP design solutions, including Source Control Management, Continuous Integration, data management, and reporting.
  • Manage internal IPG license requests, installation, and license forecasts, as well as IPG tool installation and maintenance.
  • Develop and support front-end implementation flows and internal tools to improve productivity across ASIC design cycles.
  • Collaborate with design engineers on evaluating and adopting new tools and technologies.
  • Provide expert guidance on design and verification best practices, ensuring high-quality designs.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in IPG infrastructure and automation in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Unix Shell, Python, TCL) and tools for complex environments.
  • Experience with ASIC IPG infrastructure management, maintenance, support, and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with system administration, Chef, container technology, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.

You will collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to influence and enhance the infrastructure landscape, ensuring the successful and smooth operation of engineering teams.
