We are hiring Site Reliability staff/professional engineer to maintain and optimize Synopsys Taiwan engineering compute operation and the EDA compute ecosystem adoption. As IT engineering compute is a key role in supporting Synopsys software development and the support to Taiwan key customers, we are seeking IT infra expert to join us and be responsible for below work areas:

1. Infrastructure of EDA compute (major in Linux) and network system provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Virtualization and secure segregated platform/resource management and involvement in EDA job scheduler and remote access support.
2. Project management and modern cloud technology study and adoption for EDA compute domain and secure chamber
3. Maintain and optimize Taiwan IT data center services in Synopsys Hsinchu office under corporate IT data center and security standard, including server hardware life cycle management on Synopsys-owned and customer-owned data centers.
4. Data center-related operation and maintenance work including equipment installation/maintenance/setup by following corporate network and InfoSec standards. Collaborate with IT vendors for the maintenance work of the planned change, expansion, and network hardware extension.
5. Plan for data center expansion and software-defined data center architecture deployment and optimization.

The Required Skills of This Job Includes Below
1. Linux system administration/setup experiences or the skills of Linux or network setup and maintenance for over 5+ years.
2. Experiences in on-premises data center support, operation, and monitoring experiences, familiar with hardware spec and installation processes including server, network, and storage systems.
3. Technical skills certified by RHCE, CCNA, Cloud technologies, or other IT infra certification are a plus.
4. Be able to play a technical leadership and project management role in Taiwan IT team to introduce and pilot modern technologies and innovation. Project management skills the spirit of cross-team collaboration and a positive attitude to learn new IT infra technologies.
5. English communication is required to collaborate with HQ IT functional team in US or other regional IT operation teams, including operation support and project delivery.
6. Teamwork and customer-1st spirit, and self-motivated on the technical skill growth.
