We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.

You Are: An accomplished Analog Design Engineer with a passion for developing cutting-edge high-speed analog integrated circuits. You have a strong foundation in transistor-level circuit design and a proven track record in designing and refining Multi-Gbps NRZ & PAM4 SERDES IP. Your expertise spans various SerDes sub-circuits, and you are adept at identifying optimal circuit architectures to meet stringent power, area, and performance targets. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside diverse teams of analog and digital designers. Your skills extend to both schematic entry and physical layout, with a keen eye for minimizing parasitic effects and ensuring design reliability. Your proficiency with simulation tools and scripting languages enhances your ability to propose efficient design and verification strategies. You are a proactive communicator, capable of presenting complex simulation data and documenting design features and test plans effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Reviewing SerDes standards to develop analog sub-block specifications.
  • Identifying and refining circuit architectures to achieve optimal power, area, and performance targets.
  • Proposing design and verification strategies that efficiently use simulator features to ensure the highest quality design.
  • Overseeing physical layout to minimize the effect of parasitics, device stress, and process variation.
  • Presenting simulation data for peer and customer review.
  • Documenting design features and test plans.
  • Consulting on the electrical characterization of your circuit within the SerDes IP product and proposing solutions for post-silicon design updates.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Innovating high-speed analog integrated circuits that push the boundaries of performance.
  • Contributing to the development of industry-leading Multi-Gbps NRZ & PAM4 SERDES IP.
  • Enhancing the reliability and efficiency of analog designs through meticulous verification and layout oversight.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams with your expertise in analog sub-blocks and circuit architectures.
  • Driving continuous improvement in design methodologies and simulation strategies.
  • Playing a key role in the success of our analog and mixed-signal R&D team.

What You’ll Need:

  • BE+6 years of relevant experience / MTech+4 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth familiarity with transistor-level circuit design and sound CMOS design fundamentals.
  • Detailed design experience with at least one, and familiarity with several other SerDes sub-circuits: receive equalizers, samplers, voltage/current-mode drivers, serializers, deserializers, voltage-controlled oscillator, phase mixer, delay-locked loop, phase-locked loop, bandgap reference, ADC, DAC.
  • Awareness of ESD issues and circuit techniques.
  • Familiarity with custom digital design and high-speed logic paths.
  • Knowledge of design for reliability, including EM, IR, and aging considerations.
  • Experience with tools for schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification.
  • Hands-on experience with physical layout of high-speed circuits is a plus.
  • Proficiency with SPICE simulators and simulation methods.
  • Knowledgeable in Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation-control/data-capture.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, C, Python, or MATLAB.

Who You Are:
