You Are:

You are a highly skilled and motivated professional with a strong background in HDL/HVL languages such as Verilog, VHDL, and System Verilog. You excel in simulation-based verification technologies, including C++, UVM, and SVA, with a sound understanding of LRM. Your expertise in digital design and RTL/testbench coding is unparalleled, and you possess exceptional debugging skills. You have a solid grasp of scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, Make, Shell, and Python, and are proficient in working on Unix platforms. Experience with Synopsys EDA tools such as VCS and Verdi is a plus, and you have prior experience in IP level or SoC level verification. Your comprehensive understanding of hardware design, micro-architecture, and Unix/Linux automation shell scripting sets you apart. Additionally, your familiarity with coverage closure technologies adds an extra edge to your skill set.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing technical and engineering insight to support and improve the usability, applicability, and adoption of Synopsys products.
• Designing, developing, and evaluating digital designs and RTL/testbench coding.
• Debugging complex digital designs and ensuring efficient simulation-based verification.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve coverage closure and verification goals.
• Utilizing scripting languages to automate verification processes and enhance productivity.
• Contributing to the development of verification methodologies and best practices.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong HDL/HVL language background (Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog).
• 5+ years of experience in simulation-based verification technologies (C++, UVM, SVA, sound understanding of LRM).
• Expert level digital design and RTL/testbench coding skills.
• Expert level debugging skills.
• Good understanding of scripting languages – Perl, Tcl, Make, Shell, Python.
• Working knowledge/experience on Unix platform.
• Exposure to Synopsys EDA tools (VCS, Verdi) is an added advantage.
• Prior work experience on IP level or SoC level verification is desirable.
• Exceptional understanding of Unix/Linux automation shell (bash, csh) and scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).
• Experience with coverage closure technologies is a benefit.
