If you share our passion for innovation, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced Applications Engineering team working on best-in-class OPC/RET Mask Synthesis tools. We look for a highly skilled and motivated engineer with a passion for working with customers and R&D to develop and deploy cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing solutions. As an expert user of OPC/MEC/RET, you will employ your analytical and problem-solving skills in a collaborative team environment to address the most challenging problems in computational lithography.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Review and analyze feedback on product and solutions performance from customers and other application partners, working directly with R&D to develop and implement technical roadmaps, specifications, and validation for improvements and enhancements.
- Provide technical and engineering insight and direction to support and improve usability, applicability, and depolyability to meet customer business needs
- Use innovative techniques and ideas to create/explore new OPC/MEC/RET methods extending Mask Synthesis capability using Machine Learning, AI, and GPUs
- Work with key customers and field support teams to debug and resolve difficult problems from customers side.
- Compile training materials and provide trainings to field application engineers and customers.
- Work with technical publication team for generating product release documents.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physical Sciences
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor field, with a focus on computational lithography.
- Experience with Python, Scripting languages, HPC technologies, GPU and machine learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging production-related issues
