We’re looking for a Knowledge Base Librarian engineer to drive and implement an internal knowledge base library (KBL) resulting from the support activities to be integrated in portal to manage internal support workflows. The portal will serve 10k+ internal users and will be instrumental to improve the support efficiency of the organization. The successful candidate will be part of the team that manages the large high performance compute infrastructure (HPC) used at Synopsys and will be exposed to all new technologies and compute paradigms that are required to manage large scale systems.
Required qualifications:
- MS or BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5-year of relevant work experience
- Experience in producing high-quality technical documentation.
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Plus:
- Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
- Understanding of how CRM systems work
- Background in algorithms and data structures
- Know how to work in the Linux environment
- Front-End, Back-End development experience
Main Duties might include:
- Help to create and maintain an internal knowledge Base Library in Stack Overflow internal instance
- Organize the Knowledge Base Library Database by cataloging, tagging and managing content.
- Help stakeholders to find materials, resources and references they need and manage their requests.
- Developing, maintaining and updating library content/inventory.
- Researching and implementing information management techniques and processes to curate information and maintain it valid and up to date.
- Oversee the Knowledge Base Library to ensure cleanliness, order and easy finding,
- Develop update processes and conduct regular checks on KBL Information: collections, articles, questions and answers.
- Drive initiatives through organization pushing for information addition, curation and maintenance.
- Coordinate and create programs/initiatives that increase library awareness and usage
- Supervise library Moderators, Area Representatives and Experts and other staff.
