You Are:
You are a seasoned R&D Engineer with a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions in the Physical Verification domain. With over 4 years of relevant industry experience, you have a proven track record in owning and developing complete solutions from specification to customer interaction. Your expertise lies in C/C++ development, and you are comfortable working with new languages like ICV PXL. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of software design principles, including Design Thinking and Design Patterns. Your background in EDA Software development, particularly in placement and route flow or Physical Design, sets you apart. You are eager to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development of advanced solutions for metal fill, track-based fill, power ground augmentation, and thermal integrity in advanced nodes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and enhancing ICV-based solutions within ICC2/Fusion Compiler.
- Working on post-route stage physical aspect designs, ensuring adherence to physical design rule constraints (DRC checks), timing, and IR drop constraints.
- Creating solutions for metal fill, track-based fill, and power ground augmentation to optimize IR drop for low power and IR critical designs.
- Developing thermal solutions to maintain thermal integrity in advanced nodes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of developed solutions.
- Interacting with customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the delivered solutions.

What You’ll Need:
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience in the Physical Verification domain.
- Proficiency in C/C++ development, with a solid track record of developing solutions using these languages.
- Experience in owning and developing complete solutions, from specification to customer interaction.
- Willingness to learn and develop in new languages, such as ICV PXL.
- Knowledge of software design principles, including Design Thinking and Design Patterns.
- Previous experience in EDA Software development, particularly in placement and route flow or Physical Design.

The team's focus is on ensuring the physical integrity and performance of advanced node designs, making a significant impact on the overall success of Synopsys' products.
