About the role:

We are searching for a Regional Director, Analytics to support our APAC team.

In this role, you will lead the cross-functional analytics team, reporting directly to the APAC President. This role is accountable for providing actionable insights across sales, marketing, operations, and franchise performance to drive profitability, efficiency, and strategic decision-making for the APAC region.

This role will partner closely with business and functional teams to identify and address opportunities that improve franchisee profitability, enhance commercial performance, and guide regional strategy. The role also supports the APAC President in sharing regular business performance updates to the Global CEO and Executive Leadership Team, establishing dashboards, reporting frameworks, and reporting cadences to ensure timely and actionable executive visibility. Insights provided by this role are also shared with franchisees during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Annual Brand & Business Planning sessions to support franchisee growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic Commercial Analysis

Conduct comprehensive analysis of sales, marketing campaigns, product trials, pricing and operational metrics to provide insights that drive regional performance and profitability. Deliver actionable recommendations to APAC Leadership and franchisees to inform decision making and optimize commercial outcomes.

Cross-Functional Business Partnering

Collaborate with business, operational, marketing and development teams to translate business needs into analytical insights. Provide guidance and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives, franchisee growth, and operational efficiency. Share key findings during QBRs and Annual Brand & Business Planning sessions to enable informed decision-making.

Reporting, Dashboards & Business Intelligence

Design, develop and maintain automated dashboards, reporting frameworks, and business intelligence tools to ensure timely and accurate insights. Standardize reporting processes and establish regular cadences to provide APAC Leadership and franchisees with actionable information for strategic, tactical, and operational planning.

Leadership, Communication & Decision Support

Lead, mentor and develop the analytics team to ensure high performance and capability building. Present insights, recommendations and financial scenarios to APAC Leadership, evaluating ROI and commercial impact. Support the APAC President in executive reporting, strategic planning, and high-level decision-making across the region.

Market, Consumer & Category Insights

Conduct research and analysis of market trends, competitive activity and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and inform commercial strategy. Translate complex data into clear insights to guide marketing, operations and franchise decision-making.

Requirements & Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Economics, data analytics or similar field
  • 10+ years’ experience Management experience in business/ data analytics with strong business and financial acumen.
  • QSR/Restaurant/Retail/ Management Consulting experience a plus, but not essential
  • Ability to quickly learn internal systems, terminology, specific software alongside external portals and reports
  • Excellent mathematical and financial knowledge
  • Identify commercial deficiencies and risk that could impact the business
  • Ability to explain/present complicated/ advanced analytical methodology and results to non-technical audiences
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL required , SAS or R preferred. Tableau Software (Fresh Insights). Experience applying statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time business problems.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Understanding of core database marketing knowledge, file manipulation technics and how to access and leverage relational databases
  • Executive influencer with strong interpersonal and written communication skills, building business cases and articulating them for the executive leadership and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated team player that brings excitement and enthusiasm to work each day and has strong cross functional experience, emotional intelligence, and empathy in order to lead a high performing team
  • Balances strategic acumen and setting the vision with hands-on teaching/leadership where necessary; willing to roll-up sleeves to support the work
  • A growth mindset: track record of leveraging learnings, demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit, always imagining what’s possible
