Continuous Improvement Project Manager

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement Project Manager to join us and take accountability for the change management for process improvement and driving continuous improvement methodology.
Main Responsibilities
- To use Value Stream Mapping techniques to identify waste and implement future state improvement plans.
- To use SMED methodology to improve internal / external activity ratio to reduce changeover times.
- To support 5s activities through workshops and Kaizen events.
- To drive the employee Kaizen improvement system to help drive a positive inclusive culture of improvement.
- To apply (and train employees) Root Cause Analysis to improve customer quality (internal & external).
- Work closely with supply chain team & kitting to improve OTIF, RFT & Kanban possibilities.
- Carry out regular process time study analysis to support line balancing & achieve Takt Time.
- To analyse company processes and procedures to drive improvement strategies.
- To support the company with shop floor data collection systems and maintenance of the process.
- To run Kaizen workshops to support business improvement initiatives.
Education / Qualifications:
- Qualified to Level 4 or higher in a Business Improvement framework.
- Qualified to Level 4 or higher in Leadership.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in change management.
- Able to run Kaizen workshops / training.
- Shopfloor data management systems.
- Six sigma green belt level.
Competencies:
- Value Stream Mapping: current and future state experience
- SMED.
- 5 years + in CI role within manufacturing environment.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders.
- Have excellent project management abilities
- Have a creative approach for generating new ideas
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Be methodical in their approach to tasks set
- Be able to question and reason
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Talent Developer

- SC cleared or ability to obtain
- Ability to travel
