Job Summary: The HR Coordinator will provide support to Spectrum Control in implementing people processes across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records and managing data related to human resources activities including time & absence administration, benefits support, recruitment, training, and performance management. The HR Coordinator will also serve as the primary contact for employees regarding personnel issues or concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire onboarding process from start to finish, ensuring all necessary steps are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to employment practices.
- Develop policies and procedures relating to employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Conduct regular reviews of employee files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, hours worked, and absences.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve employee morale and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement new initiatives and programs aimed at improving workplace culture.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors regarding employee matters.
- Work closely with department heads to identify areas where improvements can be made.
- Assist in conducting investigations into allegations of misconduct or harassment.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience working in human resources or similar position required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail essential.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience using Workday or similar HRIS software.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations helpful.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Work Environment:
- Office inside manufacturing facility.
