JOB SUMMARY: A Technician examines parts for conformance with dimensional specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Works closely with Engineers and Manufacturing to support and improve manufacturing operations. This includes troubleshooting products, equipment and process issues, performing acceptance testing, documenting fixtures, equipment maintenance, and updating process documentation. The Technician will also assist Engineers with projects through building or procuring test equipment and performing testing, including process validations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- To inspect, measure and test using electronic measuring equipment and microscope
- Performs Final acceptance testing in accordance with customer specifications
- Inspect products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement
- Assist in product design, development, and production
- Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.
- Analyze test results using engineering specifications and calculator
- Assist engineers in: running experiments, creating documentation and operational methods sheets for production
- Utilize computer-aided design and drafting equipment during design phase
- Maintain proper records related to product development and release
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Promote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing
- Assist production with troubleshooting machine issues
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate's Degree
- Experience Years: 3-5 years
- Experience Type: Electrical Engineering or Technology OR Equivalent combination of education and experience

- Computer spreadsheet knowledge
