Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electronic principles, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency in using various testing and diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic components and systems to identify and resolve malfunctions.
  • Perform repairs, replacements, and upgrades on electronic equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and testing to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic systems.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Use various testing and diagnostic equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex issues.
  • Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and test results accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic repair and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic schematics and technical manuals.
  • Strong understanding of electronic principles and components.
  • Experience with diagnostic and testing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Electronics or a related field (e.g., CET, FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License).
  • Experience with specific types of electronic equipment used in the industry (e.g., medical devices, communication systems, industrial machinery).
  • Knowledge of soldering and surface-mount technology (SMT) techniques.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to [specify weight] pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools.
