The Role
We’re looking for an Associate People & Culture Business Partner to support our Marketing and Finance teams. This role blends strong P&C generalist execution with meaningful business partnership, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders while driving core people programs and operational excellence.
You’ll play a key role in shaping team effectiveness, supporting leaders through complex people matters, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality employee experience. This role is focused on the full employee lifecycle, performance, engagement, and organizational health.
What You’ll Do
Business Partnership
Partner closely with Marketing & Finance leaders to advise on people-related strategies and decisions
Support organizational design, team effectiveness, and workforce planning efforts
Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness
Translate business priorities into clear, actionable people initiatives
Employee Lifecycle & Operations
Own and execute key employee lifecycle moments (onboarding, performance, development, offboarding)
Drive high-quality performance management practices, including calibration and development planning
Ensure consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement of P&C processes
Maintain strong documentation and operational rigor across programs
Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing balanced and thoughtful guidance
Manage and support investigations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans
Partner with leaders to interpret engagement data and implement meaningful action plans
Proactively identify risks and opportunities related to team health and retention
Programs & Initiatives
Execute and evolve core P&C programs (performance cycles, engagement surveys, talent reviews, etc.)
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through tooling, automation, and process enhancements
Contribute to and lead cross-functional P&C initiatives
Build scalable processes that reduce manual effort and improve team efficiency
Create and maintain documentation to enable self-service and consistency across the team
Collaboration & Enablement
Work closely with P&C Business Partners, People Ops, and specialists to ensure aligned and effective delivery
Equip leaders with tools, frameworks, and best practices to manage and develop their teams
Build manager capability through coaching and enablement
What You Bring
3–5+ years of experience in a P&C Generalist, HRBP, or similar role
Experience supporting departments such as Marketing, Finance, or similar teams
Strong foundation in employee relations, performance management, and core P&C programs
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
Experience navigating complex or sensitive people matters with sound judgment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Data-informed mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
Experience with HRIS tools and an interest in improving processes through systems and automation
Strong systems mindset with experience working in HRIS platforms (bonus: Ashby, Bob, Lattice, TeamOhana)
