Voilà is a new team dedicated to launching and scaling Sobeys new e-commerce grocery home delivery business. This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up within a larger organization. We are currently looking for Manager, E-ommerce Replenishment who will support the produce and bakery categories and work with the Director, eCommerce Replenishment to build a national strategy and structure to best support the Voila’s replenishment performance.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Responsible for achieving target customer fulfillment, webshop availability, inventory management, and minimizing shrinkage.
- Ensure forecast accuracy and reliability.
- Oversee replenishment processes to meet budgeted targets and align with regional and banner strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding order fulfillment and on-time delivery.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement to suppliers and category managers as needed.
- Explore and develop opportunities for generating inbound freight revenue.
- Build and maintain productive, proactive, and consultative business relationships.
- Ensure efficient business operations to meet financial targets and contribute to budgeted KPIs.
- Implement procurement plans that emphasize product quality.
- Collaborate with distribution teams to provide accurate information on promotions, CFC arrival times, and forecast shipments related to promotions and seasonal programs.
- Leverage supplier relationships to increase direct purchases from the source.
- Utilize regional volumes to secure the best possible landed cost for products.
What you have to offer:
- Proven record of inclusive, agile leadership with a “can do” attitude.
- Strong change management skills.
- Experienced in the grocery industry.
- Extensive knowledge of demand forecasting principles and inventory planning.
- Deep understanding of buying functions.
- Skilled in building and strengthening supplier partnerships across divisions.
- Proven track record of fostering a customer-centric culture.
- Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear direction to teams and accurately convey improvement opportunities across departments and with suppliers.
- Ability to drive team results and manage resources effectively.
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in identifying operational issues and proactively implementing solutions.
- Able to perform well under stress and pressure.
