The Signage Specialist role will be responsible for the execution of POP and Signage related projects across selected Empire grocery banners

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Team leadership - demonstrates a commitment to support a positive and collaborative working environment while working with cross functional teams.
  • Production and Project Management - oversight of Signage and POS production and support creative and production tactical briefs; project tracking workbacks, return on briefs, quotes, proofs, performance and innovation for all marketing campaigns, ad hoc projects and signage requirements for capital plans. • Coordinate with Brand Marketing, Creative teams and other internal teams to generate accurate and timely execution of signage that is customized to each banner’s needs.
  • Coordinate with print partners for timely execution and the creation of workback schedules and communicate to internal stake holders.
  • Collaborate with print partners to determine and select appropriate materials, signage elements and sizes to support the signage requirements for any given project.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of quotes by print partners and approvals to proceed for each execution. Coordinate approvals of press proofs and drawdowns with creative and brand leads.
  • Budget tracking /forecasting and reporting accuracy
  • Create and develop effective and informative signage communication for every store execution.
  • Support in the development and management of Décor & Signage guides.
  • Support in the development and management of Store Catalogs for warehoused marketing signage items.
  • Manage the banner floor plans and blocking calendars of signage spaces and places on a monthly basis to track all signage activity in store.
  • Key internal contact and print vendor contact for marketing signage requirements and for assigned portfolio
  • Oversee all marketing signage within select banner, negotiating activities between categories/departments, guiding execution to build upon the customer & Brand experience.
  • Supports in the development of POS strategies for marketing campaigns, from single store to national executions.
  • Support in the development of national signage standards and brand specific décor and signage guides.
  • Support in the harmonization and store clean up to enhance the shopper experience.

What you have to offer:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the print and production industry and or in store marketing experience, retail environment, process, and project management, working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects
  • Proven track record of project management, managing to budget
  • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks from concept through implementation and deliver quality outcomes on time and on budget
  • Strong verbal, written communication, negotiation and diplomacy skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking skills and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative and strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, adaptable, flexible and dependable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
