Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Programmer / Analyst to join our Enterprise Architect team. This role will be responsible for the administration, integration, and optimization of a diverse set of development and operations tools used across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and enterprise tool support, with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support a suite of DevOps and collaboration tools including:
  • Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Fisheye/Crucible
  • Version Control: SVN, GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Actions
  • Monitoring & Analytics: Splunk, Dynatrace
  • Requirements & Service Management: Jama, Jira Service Management (JSM)
  • Data Analytics & Workflow: KNIME
• Develop and maintain integrations between tools using APIs and middleware platforms.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment workflows.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline processes and improve tool usage.
• Maintain documentation and best practices for tool usage, configuration, and integration.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across all supported platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP and AWS).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, JSM), Jenkins, version control (Git, SVN), and artifact management (JFrog).

• 4+ years of experience in API development with deep knowledge of API protocols and gateways, plus strong skills in monitoring and logging with Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with tools like KNIME, Jama, and Fisheye/Crucible, with proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Proven experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional projects.
• Excellent understanding of integration design principles and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
