Description
We are looking for a Principal Programmer / Analyst 2 who can act as technical lead to join our Enterprise Architect team. This role will be responsible for analyzing technical and business requirements, translating them into both basic and detailed technical designs. Conduct feasibility studies, research, development, prototyping, and proof of concept (PoC) for implementing new or existing systems, solutions and processes. Participate in creating technical and project documentation, including but not limited to functional, system, and technical design, requirements, and specifications. Develop, customize, enhance, fix, and maintain code, applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting enterprise tools, with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and support a suite of enterprise tools including:
- Identity & Access Management: SailPoint
- Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Fisheye/Crucible
- Version Control: SVN, GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO)
- CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Actions
- Monitoring & Analytics: Splunk, Dynatrace
- Requirements & Service Management: Jama, Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Data Analytics & Workflow: KNIME
- Product Lifecycle Management: Agile PLM
- Collaboration & Productivity: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint
- Lead integration efforts across tools using APIs and middleware platforms to enable seamless workflows.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment workflows.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline processes and improve tool usage.
- Maintain documentation and best practices for tool usage, configuration, and integration.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across all supported platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP and AWS).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Required Experience and Skills
- 8+ years of experience with the ability to work independently, or in groups, as the lead programmer analyst on the projects within established timelines.
- 4+ years of experience in API development with deep knowledge of API protocols and gateways, plus strong skills in monitoring and logging with Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with tools like KNIME, Jama, and Fisheye/Crucible, with proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Proven experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Excellent understanding of integration design principles and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with enterprise identity management and security compliance.
