Job Description
This position reports to the Skyworks’ IT organization supporting our global WorkForce Software. The Senior WorkForce Software consultant will be responsible for the technical solution design and system configuration, hereunder requirement gathering, recommending optimizations, and implementation. The position will require a strong analytical mindset and deep experience with managing technical projects in order to identify and realize opportunities in our current processes and systems. This is an exciting opportunity to impact Skyworks’ global system in collaboration with fellow IT and HR team members.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for configuring Workforce Software (WFS) including Time and Attendance, Scheduling, Integrations, Absence Compliance Tracker using JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools.
- Responsible for supporting related business requirements for a global footprint.
- Understand WFS configuration requirements (naming conventions and how this impacts the database, customizing templates, troubleshoot settings, etc.).
- Work with internal business owners to define scope for project requirements and implementation approach for routine and new enhancements.
- Continuously improve WFS solution skills by staying up to date with the latest WFS enhancements.
- Apprise internal customers of upcoming changes with releases.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of implementation experience as a Workforce Software Time and Attendance certified consultant
- Experience with integrations to/from SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, and Workforce Software
- Experience with HCM functional domain and business processes
- Workforce Software Certification (L1 and L2) is required, L3 preferred
- Workforce software Certification in Time Database Schema and Time Custom Reports
- Certification for Absence Compliance Tracker
- Knowledge of the various workforce management areas like Leave Accruals, Attendance Tracking, Compliance monitoring
- Thorough understanding of Workforce Software functions and the ability to research & apply business best practices
- Ability to logically analyze and technically understand problems
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Crystal Reports
- Experience with SQL (Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL), T-SQL(MS-SQL) and PL-SQL(Oracle)
- Hands on experience in Accruals, Exceptions, Roles, Policies, Premiums, TCP, Settings etc
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all SAP - WFS related matters, including integrations to/from WFS
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
- Able to communicate effectively with team members and customers, both written and verbal
