The Sr. Materials/Planning Specialist 1 is responsible for the develop of production plans based on the Master Production Schedule that provide a clear vision of the targets and priorities to ensure the satisfaction of the demand while monitor and follows up the accomplishment of them. The Sr. Materials/Planning Specialist 1 communicates risk and required changes to production plans in order to make sure the shortfalls are recovered based on the stablished commitments to Supply Chain Management.
Responsibilities:
Develop production plans based on MPS
Monitor and follow up of production plans thru the line
Decision making on required changes to production plans in coordination with operations
Communicate risks/impacts of production plans
Coordinate recover plans when needed.
Provide projections of estimated completion dates and quantities for escalated part numbers
Interact upstream/downstream with other operations of the process
The selected candidate should demonstrate proven experience in materials and/or operations planning and scheduling and previous experience working on lean manufacturing environment.
Skills/Abilities:
Proven knowledge of planning and manufacturing processes
Analytical and problem-solving skills
SAP and Camstar systems knowledge are desired
Root Cause Analysis
Problem solving
Proficient MS Office
Advance Planning System experience is a plus
Education:
Industrial, Mechatronics, Systems or related engineering degree is required
Proficient in English
Programing languages is a plus
