Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in supporting divisional decision-making across healthcare, IT, and select defense training areas. This position focuses on forecasting, budgeting, pricing analysis, and financial planning, providing actionable insights to managers and directors. The role offers an opportunity to influence processes, improve data consolidation across multiple ERPs, and contribute to strategic initiatives within a collaborative FP&A team.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and pricing modeling for divisional operations.
- Consolidate and analyze data across multiple ERPs to provide accurate and actionable insights.
- Prepare gross margin and variance analyses to inform divisional decision-making.
- Serve as a trusted financial business partner to managers and directors, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Support process improvements, automation, and the adoption of analytics tools including Power BI and AI solutions.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of financial best practices across the team.
- Other duties as required within the context of the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a complex or project-based environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in P&L analysis, financial modeling, and delivering actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Clear and effective communication skills to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/BI tools; experience with SAP and Power BI considered an asset.
- Detail-oriented, logical, and inquisitive with a commitment to accuracy in reporting and analysis.
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of journal entries, basic accounting principles, and divisional financial structures.
- Interest in AI and analytics tools to improve financial planning and reporting processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment with complex workloads.
Compensation
Salary range: $85,000–$95,000 annually
