Good knowledge and background in medical imaging modalities, preferably MRI.
Should be strong in fundamentals related to physics, mathematics, signal processing, linear algebra, probability and random processes.
A good understanding of principles in imaging chain, inverse problems, artificial intelligence, MR reconstruction
and pulse sequence would be added benefit.
Experience in C / C++, Python and MATLAB.
Eagerness to learn, grow, explore, think out-of-the-box, and stretch beyond their limits.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills & clear, concise communication skills.
Improving methods for the acquisition and reconstruction of MRI images is an active area of research. Areas of research in this sub-field include methods for speeding up the acquisition, extracting more information from the sampled data, improving robustness to noise, artifacts, imperfections, etc. You will be working on problem statement exploring
and developing methods along these lines.
