As a Project Procurement Manager, you will:

- Apply and tailor established material and subcontract commodity strategies to project-specific requirements.
- Own the sourcing decision process by framing clear options with quantified tradeoffs across cost, margin, risk, and schedule.
- Partner closely with Sales immediately following PM010 to align on scope, competitiveness targets, and pursuit timelines.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering during scope reviews, bid evaluations, and transition from award to execution.

- Participate in project governance and review forums to surface sourcing risks and opportunities.
- Have:
- Strong ownership mindset with sound judgment under competing commercial and execution tradeoffs.
- Ability to challenge assumptions credibly while ensuring stakeholders feel heard.
- High degree of market curiosity and ability to create competitive tension beyond traditional negotiation.
- Enterprise-first perspective, advocating consistently for Siemens’ best interest.
- Curiosity to learn and apply new ways of working including software tools and AI.
- Pragmatic process discipline, applying principles rather than rigid rules.
- How Success Is Measured
