We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining the dataflow / interface / integration infrastructure that underpins our critical EPLAN applications. You will play a key role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability, while working closely with development teams in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities:
Design & Architecture:
Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions for EPLAN and related applications.
Define data models, schemas, and storage solutions that meet current and future business requirements.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across all systems.
Performance Optimization:
Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency.
Infrastructure Planning & Management:
Collaborate with IT operations and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal hardware and software configurations.
Integration & Data Flow:
Work closely with integration specialists and software developers to define data exchange mechanisms.
Ensure seamless data flow between EPLAN, other tools, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, PLM).
Agile Collaboration:
Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/SAFe) as a key contributor to product increments.
Translate business requirements into technical database specifications and user stories.
Utilize Jira for backlog management, task tracking, and progress reporting.
Documentation & Standards:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Establish and enforce database standards and best practices.
What You Bring:
Experience & Expertise:
5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect (Data & Integration)
Proven experience with system integration relevant to EPLAN.
Strong understanding of EPLAN's data model is a significant advantage.
Alternatively, solid experience with data architectures in other complex CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) environments (e.g., CAD, PLM, simulation software) is highly valued.
Technical Skills:
Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS) is a plus.
Understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data analytics concepts.
Agile Mindset:
Demonstrated experience working in agile development environments (Scrum, SAFe).
Proficiency in using Jira for project and task management.
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
