The IT Internal Operations Administrator adheres to operational working rules and guidelines and proposes process improvements. In this role, you’ll be assigned tasks and checks progress of agreed transactions and workflows to ensure timely completion, along with completing IT operations and maintenance related transactions with involved internal and external parties. Why is this important? The IT Administrator acts as first point of contact in subject matters by performing 1st-Level user help desk activities for the regional team and working independently and as a stand-alone position.
As an IT Internal Operations Administrator, you will:
- Overall responsibility – Support all location’s employees in setup, maintenance and emergency repairs including Siemens issued laptop computers, peripheral devices, printers, and smartphones
- Check device hardware and software (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.) with goal to get employee back on the jobsite including deploying temporary equipment (mobile and desktop phones, computers) as needed. Work with equipment vendors and Siemens IT to manage and lower repair time and subsequent employee downtime.
- On/Off Boarding Support of employees - Software, Hardware, Phones, etc. Commissioning and decommissioning per Siemens’ policies
- IT Champion/Liaison - Leads efforts for IT software and hardware upgrades and rollout, out of scope software, and new tools deployment by interacting with various Siemens’ stakeholders and manage support requests
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Proficient in computer hardware, software, and networking technologies
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Ability to work Overtime or on call as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in electronics or related field

The pay range for this position is $45,400 - $77,846 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
